Seaweed Salad
Seaweed Salad Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup dried, cut wakame
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons shoyu (or coconut aminos works too!)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon+teaspoon sugar
1 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/4 cup grated carrot
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
red pepper flakes to taste
Directions
1. Dissolve 1 tablespoon sugar in 1 cup warm water.
2. Soak wakame in solution for about 5 minutes. Drain well.
3. Mix shoyu, sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger until sugar is dissolved. Add red pepper flakes to taste.
4. Mix carrot, cilantro, and wakame into the sauce.
5. Top with sesame seeds
6. Enjoy!
